The job performance of Supervising Engineers has a key role in project monitoring and controlling.The growing complexity and accelerated nature of construction projects, driven by the adoption of new technologies, have amplified the significance of job performance among supervising engineers. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a model based on job characteristics, competence, and affective commitment, to quantitatively investigate the influencing factors on supervising engineers’ performance in building projects. The proposed model was analyzed with the Partial Least-Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Questionnaires were distributed among civil engineers who are members of the Iran Construction Engineering Organization (IRCEO). The majority of respondents were male and had more than 5 years of work experience. The primary contribution of this study to the existing body of knowledge lies in the comparison of the impact of affective commitment and competence on the performance of supervising engineers. Additionally, this study has identified the moderator variables within this model. While the results indicated that competence had a greater influence on the performance of supervising engineers compared to other factors (β=0.259, p≤0.05), it is noteworthy that the impact of affective commitment (β=0.258, p≤0.01) was nearly equivalent. In addition, the moderating effects of work experience, age, marital status and family support were investigated.

This study aimed at assessing of the performance of supervising engineers in increasing productivity wheat in agricultural year 1385-1386 in Kermanshah province from supervising engineers perspective.so This study is using applied, descriptive, correlation methods that were accomplished with square method and by using of questionnaire. The method which is used in this study is multi steps breading sampling for choosing supervising engineers which are under cover of wheat plan in agricultural year 1385-1386 in Kermanshah province. And at the end census was done in this area by 126 supervising engineers which were selected as a sample and the result of the study was analyzed by using SPSS software. the results of correlation between the study variables from supervising engineers point of view show that there is a meaningful relationship between age, using agricultural suggestions in the cultivation period, using agricultural suggestions in the pickup period, the number of operators, the number of contact with the farmers, the number of engineers whom visits dry wheat land, using educational tools, and performance of supervisor engineers in increasing production as dependent variable. The results of plural independent variables on dependent variables based on multiple variables by using regression analysis shows that using agricultural suggestions in the cultivation period and using agricultural suggestions in the pickup period had positive impact on supervising engineers’ performance in increasing production.

In order to reduce wheat waste and increase wheat production, the ministry of Jihad for Agriculture has started a project that used agricultural graduates as supervising engineers who introduce waste reduction and production increase methods to wheat cultivators. The goal of the present study was to assess the effectiveness of supervising engineer activities in wheat waste reduction. The data were collected through a questionnaire and field method.The statiftica1population in this study were 112 of supervising engineers of wheat self sufficiency project. The results of Spearman correlation test showed the variables that had positive and significant relationship with the dependent variable, i.e. effectiveness of the activities of consulting engineers in reducing wheat waste. The results of Kruska1-Wallis test showed that the methods by which the engineers supervise the activities related to wheat waste reduction were effective. The results of stepwise multivariate regression showed that the following three variables can explain 45 percent of variation in dependent variable: application of learning aids, the relation of the contents of learning extension classes to the needs of supervising engineers, and familiarization of supervising engineers with ways to reduce wheat wastes.

Dissertations and theses are essential components in the process of knowledge production within universities and higher education institutions. Improving their quality and standards is key to ensuring the advancement of knowledge and strengthening its connection within social and cultural context. Based on thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews with twenty-two faculty members from Allameh Tabataba'i University, this article seeks to identify the supervisory styles employed by faculty and assesses their views on opportunities and challenges they face in fulfilling this role. According to three continuums - the level of engagement, supervisory method, and attention to students' behavioral and personality characteristics-the main supervision styles can be categorized into five: delegators, disciplined caregivers, emotional supporters, personal and collaborative mentors, each with subcategories. These styles are shaped less by formal organizational rules and frameworks and more by personal experiences, preferences, power dynamics within the university, subcultures around these dynamics, and situational factors, leading to various opportunities and limitations for faculty members.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’ s Broadcasting (IRIB) is the main and most official mass media in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Thus, it has a special position, and it is necessary to monitor the proper and transcendent measures of this institution. According to the constitution, an external oversight mechanism has been established for it, focusing on the Broadcasting Supervisory Council (BSC) of the IRIB. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the perfor-mance of the BSC. This research aimed to discover issues and disadvantages related to the performance of the BSC. For this purpose, we conducted a thematic analysis of 13 interviews with the relevant experts. Eventually, 5 integrated codes representing the issues and risks of the council have been formulated. These codes included the following: council legal problems; structural and financial weakness of the council; supervisory issues; weakness of council members, as well as legal problems and complexity in IRIB.
